MMS Consulting, owned by Malcolm Sharrock, is based in south-west Surrey and provides an experienced, yet low-cost computer support service for local home users and small businesses.   I am an experienced IT support professional offering a low-cost personal service.  See the FAQ page for details of my charges.

I graduated in engineering at Cambridge University and have spent over 30 years in the IT industry, working from the bottom up as a computer programmer, systems analyst and project manager, for the last 10 years working for IBM.  In 2005, I set up and now run MMS Consulting.

I can perform hardware and software upgrades on your existing computer.  I can install a new computer for you and transfer all your data across from your old PC.  I do broadband and secure wireless installations and I build and maintain websites.

I provide support for all the components and functions of Windows® that normally crop up in everyday use and troubleshoot computer problems.  I provide support for Microsoft Office® products, in particular Excel® and Word® and I can provide training on any of the above to suit your needs.
