Remote Desktop Support
This facility enables me to provide you with computer support remotely.
All it requires is for you to have a broadband connection and admin rights when
logging on to Windows.
Follow the 3 steps below to prepare your computer:

Download the program and save it to your desktop
Click the green button to download:

When you see this dialogue box, click Save:

I recommend that you save the file to your Desktop.
You only need to perform this step once. On future occasions, begin
with step 2. |

Telephone me on 01428 788067 when you
need support
This is because I have to run a program on my
desktop before our computers can connect. Each time you need remote
support, please phone me first.

Launch the program
When I have confirmed to you that I am ready, locate this icon on your
desktop then click it and wait for my instructions. |
Notes
The program will let me view and access your computer desktop from my computer
(with your permission). You always remain in control and can disconnect me at
any time. I only get access to your computer once you
run the program, so there is no risk of me eavesdropping when you are unaware.
The connection is secure as all data transfer is encrypted.
One great benefit of this software is that I can view your screen while
you are using it. This means that if you are puzzled by a particular
sequence of events or message, I can effectively, "look over your
shoulder" and provide assistance without having to jump into my car.
As a user, all you have to do is download the very small file above, save it to your desktop
and it's ready for use.
You only need to run the program when you want me to provide
remote support.
Please note that this program only works if my
computer is ready to receive your connection so you need to phone me on
01428 788067
before you launch the program.
